First Things First

Do you desire a dream marriage?

If so, first things first, make sure you have the most powerful players possible on your team to guide you through the stages of love.

1. First, the Owner and CEO of your team must be God the Father. In case you didn’t know it, He is the one who thought of this thing called marriage. The whole concept came from the mind of God and His ability to make it work. He is the manufacturer of marriage. He owns the blueprint and knows how this union should and will operate if you follow His instructions. The Creator has the Master Plan (Genesis 2).
2. Next on your marriage team you must draft and call on the name of Jesus (Romans 10:8-10). If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. But you must confess Him with your mouth by repenting of your sins and asking Him to come into your heart. That is putting first things first.
3. Last but certainly not least the one player you must have on your team is the Holy Spirit. He is the one who has been drafted and sent to give you and your spouse much needed help.
   As a matter of fact He also goes by the names of Comforter, Counselor, Helper Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby and the Spirit of Truth. (John 15:26 and John 16:7-15 AMP).

   It is an absolute must that you are filled with Him, and have Him working with you to lead and guide you into all truth. Just ask God the Father to fill you with His Spirit, believe that He will, and He will be glad to do that for you (Matthew 7:10).

Now that you have assembled a winning team, remember that "a 3 fold cord is not easily broken". You will not lose in your marriage with this team if you both just follow the game plan for a dream marriage. All of your plays are spelled out for you in your playbook, The Bible.
